Scientific Research

Technical papers, research reviews and product briefs from the GrowGreen team, explaining the plant, soil and livestock science behind biological nutrition.

About this library

The evidence behind what you apply

GrowGreen fertilisers are built on biology: microbially digested kelp and fish, beneficial bacteria and fungi, and nutrients in forms plants can readily use. We believe growers and agronomists should be able to see the science behind those products, so this page brings together the technical documents written by our team.

Each paper draws on published scientific literature and our own product analysis. They range from in-depth reviews of plant physiology to short notes answering specific questions we hear in the field, such as how kelp is processed or how to lower the risk of grass tetany in grazing herds. Most are written by Dr Pau Vila, Technical and Operations Manager at GrowGreen Technologies.

Every document is free to download as a PDF, and new papers will be added here as they are published.
